We received honest feedback not only from students at art universities and vocational schools who were already familiar with fonts, but also from high school and university students who were not familiar with fonts.

Q. What prompted you to apply for the Morisawa Award, one of the OAC Student Advertising Creative Awards?
"There are many opportunities to use fonts in typography,I like reading and designing letters.And I chose Morisawa fonts because I've always used them."
"At schoolI often create videos, and fonts are a part of my everyday life.So I chose it because I thought it would be easy to make."
."I wanted to try using fontsAlso, when I watched the video lecture on how to choose fonts on the application site (see below), I learned for the first time that each font has its own characteristics and the thought that goes into creating them. It was like I had learned another language, and I found it fascinating to learn that each font has its own meaning, so I decided to apply, wanting to try using one myself.
"Previously, on a school tripWhen creating a report, changing the font completely changed the impression.Remembering this, I realized the incredible power of the shape of letters, so I decided to take on Morisawa's challenge."
Q. What did you think after actually using Morisawa Fonts?
"With other Japanese fonts, there were many cases where I couldn't use a certain kanji character because it wasn't included. Morisawa's fontsBecause there are many types of characters, it is very flexible and easy to use.I felt that way."
Q. The version provided to everyone this time was a free, limited-time version, but I would like to ask those who have signed up for the one-year Morisawa Fonts Standard Student Plan: What was the reason?
"This time, I installed the free Morisawa Fonts,It has a variety of fonts and is easy to use.So I signed an additional contract.
"Before participating in the OAC Student Advertising Creative Awards, I learned from a news release that Morisawa was releasing a new product aimed at students.Even if I wanted to use it, I thought it was difficult to afford it.So I think I would have bought it regardless of whether I applied or not."

Q. Besides the works you have submitted this time, is there anything else you would like to create using fonts?
"When creating the entry, I wanted to find a font with a strong personality, such as a calligraphy style, and create an eye-catching font like this.I wanted to use it as the title of a presentation slide for class.I thought so."
."Game development as a hobby and clubI'm currently working on a project called "Fujitsu Fonts," where I create puzzle-solving novel adventures. I'd be happy if there were plans for a font for students that could be embedded in dialogue and messages in the future!
"I've always loved editing videos, and I often use text in them.Even if the text flashes for just a moment in a video, the impression changes just by changing the font style.So I wanted to use it somewhere that would catch people's attention."
