Our guest is Masaaki Ishii from Kanda University of International Studies!
Mr. Ishii specializes in environmental sociology, and his main research themes are corporate environmental measures and the creation of sustainable social systems. In addition to his work as an educator at the university, he is also involved in numerous SDG lectures and workshops for a variety of stakeholders, including companies, local governments, lawmakers, schools, and citizens, and serves as chairman of the Urban Planning Council of Tsurugashima City, Saitama Prefecture.
This time, we spoke to a faculty member who actively uses UD fonts on campus about the relationship between the SDGs and UD fonts. In the video, Mr. Ishii talks about the connection with the SDGs and the various realizations he has had as a result of using UD fonts.

The MC for all three days will be former Miyoshi town employee, Sakuma Tomoyuki!
Born in 1976 in Itabashi Ward, Tokyo, he served as a civil servant in Miyoshi Town, Saitama Prefecture, for 18 years, where he was responsible for tax, nursing care insurance, and public relations. During his time there, he self-taught himself in public relations, design, photography, and videography, winning the Prime Minister's Award at a national public relations competition and leading the town to become the best in Japan for local government public relations. He retired in 2020 to become independent. He currently serves as a visiting researcher at Waseda University's Manifesto Institute, a public relations advisor for Nakano Ward, Shimanto Town, and Kitamoto City, and a member of the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare's Pension Public Relations Study Group. He also supports companies and works nationwide as a public relations design and human resource development instructor. His publications include "Easy Office! Civil Servant Design Techniques" and "Work Techniques for First-Year Civil Servants." As a photographer, he is the author of Juice=Juice member Kanazawa Tomoko's second photo book, "Like Miyoshi Town." He is also the representative director of PRDESIGN JAPAN Co., Ltd.
