Introducing the second issue of "MOZ," a free paper by students from Tokyo University of the Arts

Headline: Body text:

"MOZ" is a typography magazine created by students majoring in design at the Graduate School of Fine Arts at Tokyo University of the Arts over the course of a year.
This time, we will introduce issue 2 (published in May 2014).

The theme of the first issue was a grand and classic one, so I thought it would continue in that vein, but
It's a "school typo" that will surprise you in a good way.

This issue focuses on typography in the everyday lives of children.
We held workshops where elementary school students could play with letters, had elementary school students' notebooks graded by Sobue Shin, and delved deeper into textbook typefaces through an exploration of textbook typefaces.
This issue is one in which you can enjoy typography in a very free and flexible way.

Finally, an interview with art director Kaoru Kasai rounds out the issue.

Kasai talks about his involvement with letters during his student days, his early works that led him to become an art director today, and his apprenticeship period.
He also talks about children's education and typography, which makes me feel that this issue is in line with the concept of the "FONT SWITCH PROJECT," which is to "turn on the sensibility of fonts."

Next time we will introduce issue 3. Look forward to it!
