Font introduction
Kinryogyosho
This typeface was awarded the Akashi Prize in the Japanese section of the Type Design Competition 2014 and has since been commercialized. It is characterized by the way it retains the feel of a calligrapher's brush strokes, and is designed freely while retaining the balance of handwriting, with the lines showing signs of hand movement, such as blurring, fading, and brushstrokes.
Suzumuri
This design typeface won three awards in the Japanese section of the Type Design Competition 2012: Morisawa Bronze Award, Akashi Award, and first place in the fan vote. It features a charming design with plump, fresh dots that give it a familiar feel, as if written with a brush saturated with ink.
