Ochanomizu University SDGs Promotion Institute Student Committee and font manufacturer Morisawa hold collaborative event!
Morisawa will conduct a preliminary survey to determine the problems that Ochanomizu students face when creating documents, and then solve the issues from the perspective of font selection and layout.
This is recommended for people who have many opportunities to give presentations but just create materials without much thought, or who want to learn the basics of fonts and layout.

This event will be held over 2 days.
*You can also participate in just one day. Archived videos will not be available.

　*This event will consist of two sessions. Attending both sessions will help you deepen your understanding.

Target audience: Students, faculty and staff　*Those who are not affiliated with an educational institution are not eligible to participate.

Application: Online participation (Zoom broadcast)*Participants must turn off their microphones and cameras. You are free to join and leave the Zoom room during the event.

He has been involved in UD font promotion from the beginning and is engaged in activities to promote its widespread use. He has taught many classes related to typesetting and composition at art universities and design colleges. He has also provided training to local governments, teachers, and companies on the creation of designs that convey information. He is the Day 1 instructor.

Morisawa Inc. Sales Planning Department Sales Planning Division

Joined Morisawa in 2019 and is in charge of directing the development of Japanese and Chinese typefaces. He is responsible for typefaces such as Bikaze, Bikaze Traditional Chinese, and Shiofu. Recently, he has also been in charge of proposing custom fonts for companies and services. His favorite typeface is A1 Gothic. He will be the instructor for Day 2.
