Mr. Kamibayashi is mainly involved in the "easy Japanese" initiative in the multicultural coexistence project in Ikuno Ward, Osaka City, and is working to disseminate government information in "easy Japanese."
Meanwhile, Mr. Seto is engaged in public relations for Hiroshima Prefecture, particularly overseeing information dissemination using social media. Since last year, he has introduced Catalog Pocket and has been working on multilingual dissemination on social media, including disseminating information on COVID-19 cases and warnings.
In this session, the speakers focused on their efforts to promote "easy Japanese," which has been gaining attention as an initiative to disseminate information about local governments, and also talked about their efforts to address future challenges facing local governments, such as multicultural coexistence and SDGs, and how they are using MC Catalog+ in these efforts.

Born in 1976 in Itabashi Ward, Tokyo. Worked as a civil servant in Miyoshi Town, Saitama Prefecture for 18 years, where he was in charge of tax, nursing care insurance, and public relations. During his time at work, he taught himself public relations, design, photography, video, etc., and won first prize in a national public relations competition.He won the Prime Minister's Award and led the local government to become the best in Japan in public relations. He retired in 2020 to go independent. He is currently a visiting researcher at Waseda University's Manifesto Research Institute, a public relations advisor for Nakano Ward, Shimanto Town, and Kitamoto City, and a member of the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare's Pension Public Relations Review Committee, while also supporting companies and working as a training instructor for public relations design and human resource development nationwide. His many publications include "Easy with Office! One-Piece Design Techniques for Civil Servants" and "Work Techniques for First-Year Civil Servants." As a photographer, he is the creator of Juice=Juice's Kanazawa Tomoko's second photo book, "Like Miyoshi Town." He is also the representative director of PRDESIGN JAPAN Co., Ltd.
