Q. What kind of creative activities do you do?
In addition to working on assignments for school, I also voluntarily enter design contests.
I've only just started entering design contests, so I often struggle, but I'm working on it through trial and error.
Q. The moment when the font's sensitivity was turned on
I was in my first year of high school.
I went to a design school in high school, and when I realized that "Just changing the font can change the way words and sentences are perceived! It's an important element when conveying a message to people,"ON" I feel like it has become like this.
I may not have thought of it that way at the time, but looking back now and putting it into words, I think that's what it was.
Q. What is your favorite Morisawa font and why?
It's a "small gothic."
It's designed to be small overall, making it easy to use for the main text. I really like the balance and the margins, so I use it often.
Q. What do you think of the teachers at this school?
Of course, I respect them as teachers, but I also have a lot of respect for them as designers, as they are all former designers and still active today.
I believe that there is always a reason behind a design. The teachers don't just teach based on intuition, they also explain things in a logical way, which is very comforting and I think the teachers are amazing.
Q. The moment the switch turns "OFF"
When I'm daydreaming and thinking.
Sometimes I think about design, but since I also love clothes, I often think about fashion.
Q. What would you like to challenge yourself with in the future? What are you interested in?
I'm interested in combining graphic design and programming.
Recently, we often hear about the "Fourth Industrial Revolution," but I'm happy that we're living in an age where we can shape our own ideas and make them public.
To achieve this, I have started studying programming on my own. I would like to challenge myself with various methods of expression!
